Continuing our day meeting characters at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we’ve noticed another recent change to the character lineup. We’ve already taken a look at Chip & Dale and Donald & Daisy over in Echo Lake, but that means that Max Goof was evicted from his previous meet-and-greet location.

Max has moved around a bit during his tenure at Hollywood Studios. Just over a year ago, Max Goof and Vacation Goofy began meeting on Grand Avenue. At the time, Max met in his Powerline outfit. Goofy and Max technically met separately but in the same general area.

Then, in June 2023, Max moved a bit further away from Goofy, but still on Grand Avenue and still in his Powerline outfit. At the time, we reported that Max wasn’t done moving just yet, and that he would find another location shortly. Then, in July, Max Goof moved to Echo Lake and ditched the Powerline outfit. As you may know, Powerline Max was a draw to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so Max couldn’t meet in his Powerline outfit during daily operations at Hollywood Studios at the same time he was a carrot dangled for an upcharge event.

Now, with Chip & Dale taking over Max’s spot at Echo Lake, Max has moved back to Grand Avenue to meet with dad Goofy. We recently visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios to meet with the duo!
