MagicBand+ will debut in 2022 at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The next-generation wearable retains popular features from the original MagicBand and adds new functionality to unlock magical moments throughout Walt Disney World theme parks and resorts. (Disney)

Disney has announced that MagicBand+ will be launching at Disney World on July 27, 2022. The new interactive wristband is now on sale throughout the Disney World Parks. Disney has said that the starting price for the MagicBand+ is $34.99, that is the STARTING PRICE.

Right now, basic MagicBands start at $19.99 for the basic spectrum of colors. If you purchase a MagicBand with special print or characters they can be as much as $39.99 or more (Dooney & Bourke MagicBands retail for $57.99).

With the difference in price of the basic MagicBands, we would not be surprised to see a “specialty” MagicBand+ being sold for well over $100.
