In its Q1 2024 earnings report, Disney said that attendance at Walt Disney World was lower in the quarter when compared to last year due to the end of the 50th Anniversary. While attendance was down, guest spending increased during the quarter due to higher average ticket prices. That said, overall revenue at Walt Disney World was down during the quarter.

Overall, the Disney Experiences topline revenue was up by 7% when compared to the prior year quarter thanks to a 35% bump in revenue at Disney’s international theme parks. Domestically, operating income dropped 2% year over year.
