Published: February 17, 2024
The 2024 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is finally (almost) here – but what’s vegan?! This page will serve as your guide for what’s vegan at the 2024 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival, both modified and vegan as-is. Right now, we just have dates, booths and menu items, but bookmark this page to refresh as we get updated reviews as soon as the festival opens! NOTE: Menus were just revealed today 2/16/24 and this post is currently updated with those new menus. Be sure to check back after opening day for any updates and modifications on menu items!
The Complete 2024 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Vegan Disney Food Guide
This year the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival runs for almost 10 weeks, from February 29th through May 27th, reduced from the 17 weeks last year, and a little more back to “normal” as far as this festival goes. It still gives you plenty of time to plan a visit over spring break or right before Summer.
The info below is updated with the 2024 menus from Disney and reviews from opening day!
Here’s a list of all the confirmed vegan items, keep reading for full descriptions and booth locations:
- Avocado Toast with marinated toybox tomatoes on toasted ciabatta (Plant-based) (Garden Graze)
- Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine on crispy potato barrels with ranch, and plant-based blue cheese crumbles (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll) (NEW!)
- Florida Strawberry Shortcake (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll) (NEW!)
- Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with savory garlic spread and plant-based cotija cheese (Plant-based) (Garden Graze)
- IMPOSSIBLE Farmhouse Meatball with lentil bread, spinach, marinated vegetables, and creamy herb aïoli (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)
- Potato Pancakes with house-made apple sauce (Gluten/ Wheat Friendly) (Plant-based) (Garden Graze)
- IMPOSSIBLE Jamaican Beef Patty with Spicy Papaya Syrup (NEW!) (Plant-based)
- Coconut Tres Leches: Vanilla cake soaked in oat milk, almond milk, and coconut milk with toasted coconut (Plant-based) (Garden Graze)
- Seasonal Fruit Parfait with sweet chili sauce and DOLE Whip Mango (NEW!) (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)
- Orange Bird Sipper with lemon-orange smoothie – confirmed vegan but not marked with a leaf on the menu
- DOLE Whip (Plant-based)
Here’s a map from 2023 you can save to your phone and guide you around the Festival to find all the vegan stops – each number has at least one vegan food item for you to enjoy: (We will be updating this map once we know confirmed locations of the 2024 booths)
Huge thanks to ChrisRyanArt for this amazing map that warms my little original EPCOT Center heart!
Be sure to visit our 2024 Garden Graze page for all the places to get your stamps too!
Vegan Options at the Florida Fresh Outdoor Kitchen (near Disney Traders)
- Florida Strawberry Shortcake (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll) (NEW!)
Vegan Options at the EPCOT Farmers Feast Outdoor Kitchen
Returning in a new location is the vegan Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with Savory Garlic Spread (plant-based and gluten/wheat-friendly) which is also part of the Garden Graze stroll. The spicy corn chips option is not coming back this year. It’s important to note, other items in this booth will be rotating seasonally through the festival, but the corn on the cob will remain throughout the entire festival.
- Grilled Street Corn on the Cob with savory garlic spread and plant-based cheese (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)
We are glad to see this is confirmed vegan and part of the Garden Graze this year, after some confusion last festival.
The ingredients for the Grilled Street Corn with savory garlic spread are: Veganaise and Earth Balance, tamari, roasted garlic, lemon juice, shallots, parsley, chive, and plant-based cotija cheese.
Enjoy that corn and get those Garden Graze stamps!
The Grilled Street Corn on the Cob – has a savory garlic spread made from Earth Balance butter and is topped with a house-made vegan tofu cheese which resembles crumbled cotija cheese, the traditional topping for street corn.
We have the recipe for this corn here: Epcot Flower & Garden Festival Vegan Grilled Street Corn Recipe
Vegan Options at Refreshment Port (located near Canada)
- Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine on crispy potato barrels with ranch, and plant-based blue cheese crumbles (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll) (NEW!) – Excited for this!
Orange Bird Sipper at the Citrus Blossom
This year the Orange Bird Sipper returns and despite being told opening day that it contains dairy, we confirmed with 2 chefs that it does NOT contain dairy and IS vegan as is. Enjoy!
Vegan Options at Trowel & Trellis Outdoor Kitchen (Near Port of Entry)
2019 ushered in a brand new “Trowel & Trellis” Outdoor Kitchen sponsored by Impossible Foods. That kiosk returns in 2024 but is no longer completely plant-based, which is of course, disappointing. The popular Boneless Korean Short Rib is no longer an option but they did bring back a fan favorite, the Farmhouse Meatball.
- IMPOSSIBLE Farmhouse Meatball with lentil bread, spinach, marinated vegetables, and creamy herb aïoli (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)
While I am excited for the return of the beloved Farmhouse Meatball Wrap, which was pretty much my favorite item ever, I am obviously very saddened that the completely vegan as-is booth is no more. They even brought back the “Chocolate Soil” dessert from a few years back, but it is no longer plant-based.
Farewell to a favorite: Boneless Impossible Korean Short Rib with Cilantro-Lime Rice, Danmuji Slaw, and Kimchee Mayonnaise will not be returning for 2024…
The Land Cart hosted by AdventHealth
Food Items:
- Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with cucumbers, olives, and multigrain crackers (New) (not sure why this isn’t listed as plant-based, we’ll investigate
- Strawberry Fruit Bar (Plant-based)
Vegan Options at La Isla Fresca:
- IMPOSSIBLE Jamaican Beef Patty with Spicy Papaya Syrup (NEW!) (Plant-based)
- Coconut Tres Leches: Vanilla cake soaked with oat, almond, and coconut milks topped with toasted coconut (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)
Returning for 2024, the fan favorite Coconut Tres Leches features vanilla cake soaked in Oat, Almond and Coconut milk, with toasted coconut atop the super sweet frosting. I was expecting this to be more soaked than it was, it was just a little bit of liquid on the bottom, but I’ll keep checking back during the festival. I think it’s a great addition and will be very popular as it’s part of the Garden Graze as well.
At this booth, I got the non-alcoholic Tropical Breeze – which is lemonade and grapefruit juice, frozen. It was the perfect match with the sweet cake. I loved it and would definitely get it again.
Vegan Options at the 2024 Epcot Flower & Garden Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market Outdoor Kitchen
Returning this year, The Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market Outdoor Kitchen in Germany will again be offering guests vegan Potato Pancakes with House-made Apple Sauce
Two potato pancakes come to an order and get a topping of applesauce. We love these traditional potato pancakes. They have a slight hint of onion to them and were extremely satisfying. This is a generous serving size as well. I have to say I do prefer the Festival of the Holidays Potato Latkes with the savory vegan sour cream, but if you don’t like the sweet, you can ask for yours without applesauce.
Vegan Options at Brunchot (by Test Track)
This is a returning option for 2024, and this year it is still confirmed plant-based up front.
- Avocado Toast with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles on toasted ciabatta (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)
- NOT VEGAN: Biscuit and Gravy with IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Fried Steak and IMPOSSIBLE Sausage Gravy (New) – we will check if this is modifiable but we are assuming the biscuit and the gravy will have dairy and/or egg so this may be one for the vegetarians (I’d totally get the chicken by itself tho :P)
Vegan Options at the 2024 Epcot Pineapple Promenade Outdoor Kitchen
Pineapple Dole Whip – returns to the Pineapple Promenade Outdoor Kitchen in Showcase Plaza near Port of Entry (location may be updated)
You can get your pineapple Dole Whip plain or in a Fanta soda float (similar to the I Lava You float at Magic Kingdom)
This outdoor kitchen is also where you’ll find the iconic Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade garnished with an edible flower.
Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina (Morocco)
- Mediterranean Flatbread with chermoula, roasted vegetables, artichoke, olives, feta cheese (this may be vegan without the cheese – we will have to confirm
We’ve been complaining that the Stone Baked Moroccan Bread and dips has been here for every festival the last year, and I guess they heard us because it’s finally gone. We may or may not have a replacement with the flatbread, we will have to confirm the ingredients on that.
Hanami (Japan)
We MAY have a vegan option with the Steam Bun, but it may also contain dairy. I will check opening day to confirm so check back or watch our Instagram for updates. Just a note below as I like to remind people, the Frushi is NOT VEGAN or even Vegetarian as the pink soy wrap contains carmine (crushed beetles) for the dye. Sorry to disappoint, we check every year, and we will again this year.
- Frushi: Strawberry, pineapple, and lychee wrapped in coconut rice and pink soy wrap served with whipped cream, drizzled raspberry sauce, and toasted coconut NOT VEGAN/NOT VEGETARIAN
- Steam Bun filled with vegetables and plant-based soy meat (New) MAY be vegan, may contain dairy – we will confirm
Vegan Options at the Epcot Refreshment Outpost for 2024
- Seasonal Fruit Parfait with sweet chili sauce and DOLE Whip Mango (NEW!) (Plant-based) (Garden Graze Food Stroll)
This looks like a baby version of the chili mango Dole Whip in Disneyland and I am here for it!!! Mango is my favorite flavor and I can’t wait to try this here!
A quick note: at Refreshment Outpost there is also a Tangerine Soft Serve, but this is NOT vegan and does contain dairy. Which is sad because I love tangerine! Oh well.
Lotus House (China)
The Pan-Fried Vegetable Dumplings are vegan as-is, even with the sauce, as confirmed by our friends at VeganDisneyWorld. We will reconfirm this year for 2024.
Below is last year’s dumplings:
Jardin de Fiestas
- POSSIBLE Modified Vegan Option: Sope de Chilorio: Guajillo pepper-braised pork on fried corn shells with black beans, shredded cabbage, crema Mexicana, queso fresco, and chives (New) We will have to confirm this can be made vegan without the meat. During the Festival of the Holidays, the beans contained chicken stock
Plant Based Garden Graze Stroll
Returning this year is the vegan Garden Graze walk which rewards guests with a FREE vegan Dole Whip upon completion. We will have to confirm the 2024 completer prize. But this year we have 11 choices for the Garden Graze, and you only need 5 to complete the stroll.
You can read all about it here: Vegan Garden Graze at the 2023 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival and we’ll update it for 2024 when the festival opens.
Here’s a look at the completer prize, which comes in a plastic souvenir cup. You also get a packet of wildflower seeds.
Be sure to grab a commemorative Disney gift card on your way into Epcot. Load it up and use it at each kiosk. It has a wrist strap and makes things so much easier when paying for your food.
We are expecting a return of Spike the Bee Spork this year and maybe Figment spork will still be around, to cut down on your single use plastic.
So that’s it for the vegan food Options at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Again, the festival runs from February 28 through May 27, 2024. For more information on the festival visit DisneyWorld.com.
